Anonymous asked: Hi- great tip to remove BR1 on the Marshall 4100 (or 4500). I don't know why Marshall even put it there in the first place - it just kills some transparency and makes it kind of gritty. I did discover that I needed to put a 100k resistor in place of the bridge to keep the effects loop working properly, and also kill some funky artifacts that were happening.
